The Real Manhunter LIVE

Sunday 26th May 3pm

with Colin Sutton

AFTER A SOLD OUT FIRST APPEARANCE, FORMER DCI COLIN SUTTON RETURNS TO THE TABARD

The man who brought the serial killer Levi Bellfield to justice will shed new light on the investigation and his 30 years in the police when his nationwide tour comes to the Tabard Theatre.

Colin Sutton was a police officer for 30 years, serving as the head of a Metropolitan Police Murder Squad for the last nine of them. During his stint, which ended in 2011, Sutton led more than 30 successful murder investigations including two of the most infamous cases in British history. Sutton tenaciously and relentlessly pursued serial killer Levi Bellfield as well as serial rapist Delroy Grant known as the ‘Night Stalker’, bringing both men to justice.

After retirement in 2011, he wrote books about two of his major investigations; these were then adapted into the acclaimed ITV drama series ‘Manhunt’. In both seasons Colin was played by Martin Clunes. The second season ‘Manhunt: The Night Stalker’ was nominated for the Best Drama BAFTA in 2022.

Colin also writes and presents ‘The Real Manhunter’ a true crime documentary series on Sky Crime, which is now entering its third season.

Part of a nationwide tour, in this special one-man show, DCI Colin Sutton, now writer and broadcaster, takes you through his career – from cracking cold cases and chasing serial killers to writing books and making TV shows.
